Subjects were asked to rate the potency of each strategy according to a five-point Likert-type scale.

The study build that the adoption of international account standards, the adoption of international auditing standards, useful training for accounting students during their college education, and raising educational requirements for accounting at the entry level to the occupation are perceived to be the most effective strategies for enhancing accounting occupation and practices in Kuwait. These findings have got important implications for various groups interested in enhancing the accounting profession and practices in Kuwait.
